The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Program Manager (WAN) to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of our wide-area networking initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring Nscale’s backbone, interconnects, and regional expansions are delivered on time, at scale, and with high reliability.
You will drive complex, cross-functional programs spanning network engineering, data center operations, vendors, and commercial teams.

What You’ll Do
• Drive end-to-end WAN program delivery
Lead large-scale initiatives such as backbone expansion, new region bring-up, capacity upgrades, and network optimization.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution
Align network engineering, infrastructure, SRE, procurement, and external vendors to deliver against timelines and milestones.
• Build and manage program plans
Develop detailed project plans, track dependencies, identify risks, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage vendors and partners
Coordinate with carriers, IXPs, and hardware providers to ensure timely provisioning and issue resolution.
• Track performance and readiness
Ensure WAN deployments meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements before production rollout.
• Drive operational excellence
Implement processes, tools, and reporting to improve execution, visibility, and predictability.
• Communicate with stakeholders
Provide clear, regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on progress, risks, and outcomes.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience5–10+ years in program or project management, ideally in networking or infrastructure
  • Experience delivering large-scale WAN, telecom, or data center programs
  • Background working with cross-functional technical teams
  • Networking familiaritySolid understanding of WAN concepts (e.g., BGP, routing, capacity planning, fiber, peering)
  • Ability to work effectively with network engineers and vendors
  • Execution excellenceProven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs
  • Strong planning, risk management, and dependency tracking skills
  • Vendor managementExperience working with carriers, ISPs, or infrastructure vendors
  • CommunicationStrong stakeholder management and executive communication skills


Nice to Have
  • Experience with hyperscale or cloud infrastructure environments
  • Familiarity with AI/ML or HPC infrastructure requirements
  • Experience with network deployment at global scale
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications

The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.

Salary Range

$140,000 - $220,000 USD
