About the Role (Job Purpose)

We are seeking a Principal Hardware Program Manager, Technical to lead execution of critical GPU hardware initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end program delivery, ensuring successful planning, development, and deployment of our hardware platforms.

You will operate at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, and external partners, bringing strong technical depth and operational rigor to complex, cross-functional programs. This is a highly execution-focused role requiring ownership, clarity, and the ability to drive alignment across stakeholders.


What You’ll be Doing (Responsibilities)

  • Own end-to-end execution of the Canary hardware program, proactively managing milestones, risks, and deliverables
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain to define, validate, and manage Bill of Materials (BOM), including cost, availability, and lifecycle considerations
  • Lead planning and execution support for OEM → ODM transitions, including PRD development, NPI planning, and manufacturing readiness
  • Develop and maintain program collateral, including detailed schedules, status reporting, and executive-level updates
  • Drive overall GPU hardware program execution, ensuring alignment across engineering, operations, and business teams
  • Track progress against program goals and ensure timely delivery of key milestones
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to keep programs on track
  • Serve as a central point of coordination across internal teams and external partners

About You (Skills / Qualifications)

  • 10+ years of experience in hardware program management or technical program management
  • Strong experience with GPU systems, servers, or large-scale hardware platforms
  • Proven track record managing complex hardware programs from concept through production
  • Deep familiarity with BOM management, supply chain processes, and manufacturing workflows
  • Experience supporting OEM and ODM engagements, including NPI processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate at both technical and executive levels
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a bias toward execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in AI infrastructure, data center hardware, or high-performance computing environments
  • Experience working with cross-functional global teams and external manufacturing partners
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and drive clarity

The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.

Salary Range

$200,000 - $350,000 USD
