About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and capable Project Engineer to oversee daily onsite operations, 

and provide onsite representation for Nscale during construction activities. You will help drive day-to-day execution with the general contractor, ensure the requirements of Nscale’s safety program are followed and ensure that the contractor’s schedule and quality reports are accurate. You will partner closely with Nscale leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to make sure the facility and systems delivered under the construction contracts meet business and customer requirements.

 

What You’ll be Doing (Responsibilities)

  • Represent Nscale onsite and oversee daily onsite construction operations.
  • Facilitate clear, fast communication between Nscale leadership and the general contractor.
  • Ensure that the general contractor is adhering to the requirements and expectations of Nscale’s Safety Program and adhering to their own safety program reinforcing compliance and proactive risk management across the project site.
  • Monitor contractor progress and adherence to the project schedule.
  • Monitor onsite personnel and daily manpower reporting submitted by the general contractor.
  • Validate accurate reporting of: 
  • Construction schedule
  • Production and procurement schedules
  • QAQC hold points and release status
  • Partner cross-functionally with construction, commissioning, operations, procurement, and product or platform stakeholders to align delivered mechanical systems to requirements.
  • Provide onsite support to Nscale leadership across LLE equipment procurement, submittals, RFIs, field changes, and issue resolution through construction.
  • Production delivery tracking, auditing and verification.
  • Ensure contractor compliance and accuracy for all Interface Management System (IMS) and Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) reporting, documentation, and filing.

 

About You (Skills / Qualifications)

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience (internship, co-op, or full-time) supporting large-scale data center, mission-critical, or industrial construction projects.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, high-intensity environment and support a team delivering against aggressive milestones.
  • Working understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and structural systems in high-performance facilities.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability throughout project delivery.
  • Proficiency in Procore.
  • Experience working alongside commissioning teams and supporting transition from construction to operations.
  • Familiarity with formal interface management and document control processes (IMS/EDMS) on large capital projects.

The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.

Salary Range

$90,000 - $125,000 USD
