Role Overview
Nscale is seeking a Junior Deployment Project Manager to support the delivery of global infrastructure deployment projects across our data centre footprint.
This is an ideal role for someone early in their project management career who has experience working in infrastructure environments (e.g. IT, telecoms, networking, or data centres) and is looking to develop their skills in large-scale deployment delivery.
You will work closely with Senior Project Managers and cross-functional teams to help plan, coordinate, and execute deployments, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the delivery of GPU data centre and infrastructure deployment projects from initiation through to completion
- Assist in building and maintaining project plans, schedules, and trackers
- Coordinate day-to-day activities across engineering teams, vendors, and contractors
- Track progress against milestones and escalate risks or delays where needed
- Support on-site deployment activities including hardware installation and cabling coordination
- Help manage logistics including equipment deliveries, site access, and resource scheduling
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including installation records and handover packs
- Participate in project status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Assist in monitoring project budgets and tracking costs
- Support quality assurance checks to ensure installations meet required standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of deployment processes and ways of working

- Support successful delivery of infrastructure deployment projects on time and within scope
- Build strong foundational project management skills within a fast-paced environment
- Ensure high-quality, consistent deployment standards are followed
- Maintain accurate and well-structured project documentation
- Develop strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners

- Accuracy and timeliness of project tracking and updates
- Contribution to on-time delivery of projects
Quality & process:
- Completeness and accuracy of documentation
- Adherence to deployment processes and standards
Operational effectiveness:
- Coordination of tasks and stakeholder communication
- Responsiveness to issues and ability to escalate appropriately
About You (Skills / Qualifications / Experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in a project coordination, junior project management, or delivery role
- Experience working in an infrastructure environment (e.g. IT infrastructure, networking, telecoms, cloud, or data centres)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Basic understanding of project management principles and tools
Nice to Have
- Exposure to data centre environments or hardware deployments
- Familiarity with servers, networking equipment, or structured cabling
- Experience working with vendors, contractors, or third parties
- Knowledge of project management tools (e.g. Jira, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet)
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM)
