What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Facilities Manager to oversee the management of our facilities across designated regions in Nigeria. If you excel in optimizing workspace functionality, possess expertise in space planning and architectural designs, and can transform concepts into actionable 3D drawings while ensuring operational efficiency, we’d love to meet you.

Role Overview

As a Regional Facilities Manager at Moniepoint, you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, development, and optimization of all Moniepoint facilities within your assigned region. You will lead property identification and evaluation, workspace design, construction and refurbishment projects, vendor coordination, brand implementation, and ongoing facility operations.
This role requires technical excellence, strong project management, and the ability to deliver efficient, safe, compliant, and brand-aligned work environments that support Moniepoint’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of all Moniepoint facilities: branches, offices, service hubs, and repair centers.
  • Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure zero downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, FM SOPs, and HSE standards.
  • Oversee janitorial, landscaping, utility, and general facility upkeep services.
  • Track performance and turnaround times for all maintenance issues across the region.
  • Conduct regular facility audits to assess risks, damage, wear, and adherence to operational standards.
  • Produce high-quality 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and architectural layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalent tools.
  • Translate business requirements into efficient, functional, and brand-aligned workspace designs.
  • Ensure branding (interior and exterior) strictly adheres to Moniepoint corporate identity standards.
  • Develop space optimization plans for branches, offices, and special-purpose locations.
  • Review and adjust designs in partnership with stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
  • Identify and inspect potential sites for branches and office expansion.
  • Conduct technical property evaluations, including suitability assessment, structural condition review, space adequacy, and cost implications.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommendations for approval.
  • Support lease negotiations by providing design inputs, technical insights, and risk evaluations.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new locations, including documentation, due diligence, and handover.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of new branch rollouts, refurbishments, expansions, and upgrades.
  • Coordinate contractors, artisans, technical teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
  • Prepare project schedules, BOQs, and basic cost estimates (QS capability).
  • Review plans, guide construction teams, manage site activities, and enforce quality standards.
  • Ensure projects are executed within approved timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Manage snag closure, commissioning, handover, and post-occupancy reviews.
  • Identify, assess, onboard, and supervise construction, facility maintenance, branding, and technical vendors in the region.
  • Monitor SLA compliance, service quality, workmanship, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Proficiency in design tools: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalents.
  • Strong project management and contractor coordination skills.
  • Good understanding of basic quantity surveying (BOQs, estimates, measurement).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facilities management, property acquisition, and project management, with at least 7 years in a related role.
  • Strong background in space planning, architectural design, and creating 3D drawings for facility layouts.
  • Expertise in budgeting, cost control, and vendor management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit for architectural and 3D designs.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CFM, or HSE certification are highly desirable.
  • Valid HSE Certification (NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 or equivalent) — Mandatory
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications — Advantageous
  • Membership in professional bodies (IFMA, ARCON, NIOB, COREN, etc.) — Added advantage
