We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Service Desk Engineer to join our IT Department in Gibraltar. You’ll be an essential part of a collaborative helpdesk team that supports both local and remote employees by resolving technical issues and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. Whether responding to incoming tickets or onboarding new colleagues, your work will help shape a seamless tech experience across the company.

You'll collaborate with teams across Spain and escalate complex challenges to internal specialists (e.g., InfoSec, DevOps, BI, Oracle Finance, and 3rd Line Support). You’ll play a key role in giving new joiners a great first impression of Lottoland and ensure technical issues are triaged swiftly and handled professional

What you will do:

  • Deliver responsive 1st and 2nd line technical support through our Jira Service Management Helpdesk system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in person and remotely using conferencing and remote desktop tools.
  • Create and maintain intuitive, helpful user guides and internal knowledge articles to improve self-service and reduce support tickets.
  • Assist in developing and delivering user training.
  • Offer practical workarounds and solutions to minimize disruption.
  • Maintain and expand your technical knowledge through ongoing training and education.
  • Support IT asset management, procurement processes, and invoice tracking.
  • Monitor and prioritize incoming tickets to meet service expectations.

Who you are:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Service Desk Engineer or similar role.
  • A clear communicator with strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent at problem-solving — organized, methodical, and calm under pressure.
  • Confident working across Windows and Apple macOS environments.
  • Skilled in user account management tools such as Entra ID, Okta, OneLogin, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Familiar with enterprise platforms like Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Zoom, Cylance Antivirus, Oracle Finance, and VPN solutions.
  • Comfortable with mobile OS troubleshooting (iOS & Android).
  • Able to diagnose basic network issues using tools like Ping, DNS, and TCP/IP.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a focus on providing a positive and helpful experience to users.
  • Experience mentoring or tutoring Level 1 Engineers.
