What you will do:

  • Support the installation and configuration of desktop software, hardware, and peripherals, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets within SLA guidelines through various channels, ensuring a supportive and understanding approach.
  • Assist end-users with a range of desktop-related issues, recording, tracking, and documenting the problem-solving process through to resolution with empathy and clarity.
  • Engage in equipment maintenance and deployment, promoting teamwork and shared success.
  • Provide both onsite and remote support to end-users as needed, valuing diverse perspectives and solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation for users and the team, using effective communication to inform the team of important issues and improvements, and encouraging open dialogue.
  • Test new technology, including OS and application updates, and escalate issues to Technical Support Level 2 when necessary, embracing continuous learning and growth.

Who you are:

  • Familiar with various operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, with a willingness to explore and learn.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts, with an openness to expanding your skills.
  • Proficient in installing and configuring standard software applications, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Customer service oriented, with a focus on building positive relationships.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with a creative and resourceful approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, valuing clarity and inclusivity.
  • Eager to learn, adapt to new technologies, and stay updated on industry trends, with a passion for innovation and improvement.
