Advertising Operations Manager - Jumia (Full Time)

What You Will Be Doing:
Campaign Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of digital advertising campaigns, including setup, trafficking, optimization, and reporting across multiple platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and programmatic platforms.
- Develop and implement campaign strategies, targeting tactics, ad creative optimizations, and bid management strategies to achieve campaign objectives and maximize ROI.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, analyze data insights, and provide recommendations for optimization to improve targeting, reach, engagement, and conversion rates
Ad Operations:
- Manage ad operations processes and workflows, including ad creative trafficking, ad tag implementation, tracking setup, and troubleshooting technical issues related to ad serving and tracking.
- Ensure compliance with ad specifications, guidelines, and best practices across different ad platforms, ensuring proper setup and delivery of ads according to campaign requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and agencies to coordinate the delivery of assets, resolve technical issues, and implement tracking and measurement solutions.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools and platforms to gather, analyze, and interpret campaign performance data, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), ad spend, reach, engagement, conversion metrics, and other relevant metrics, communicating results to stakeholders.
Optimization and Experimentation:
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to evaluate ad creative variations, targeting options, bidding strategies, and other factors influencing campaign performance.
- Implement optimization tactics and adjustments based on data-driven insights and performance trends, iterating and refining strategies to improve campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of ad operations specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high-quality execution of campaigns and continuous professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing, best practice adoption, and cross-functional collaboration with other marketing teams.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 -7 years of experience in digital advertising, ad operations, campaign management, or related roles, with a proven track record of managing successful digital advertising campaigns.
- Proficiency in digital advertising platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Display & Video 360, and ad serving platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret campaign performance data, identify trends, and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, external partners, and agencies.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Certification in Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, or other relevant digital advertising certifications preferred.
