  • Review process descriptions, narratives, flowcharts and risk and control matrices, identifying deficiencies, residual risks and opportunities to strengthen controls.
  • Prepare and maintain testing working papers, evidence and supporting documentation in line with internal methodologies and audit best practices.
  • Track remediation and action plans, validate the implementation of corrective measures and report status to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical teams in defining and implementing new controls or in automating control testing where feasible.
  • Support periodic risk assessments (e.g. Risk & Control Self‑Assessment – RCSA) and continuous improvement exercises for processes and procedures.
  • Contribute to the update and maintenance of standard operating procedures, control policies and job aids, ensuring they are current and easily accessible.

These skills are not mandatory, but will help you stand out:

  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and processes (or SOX/ISO27001/ISO20000/NIST/PCI-DSS/COBIT/MITRE);
  • Experience (or strong interest) in internal audit, internal control, IT controls testing or similar roles (e.g. IT Auditor, Internal Controls Tester).

We Offer:

  • A unique experience in an entrepreneurial, yet structured environment
  • A unique opportunity of having strong impact in building the African e-commerce sector
  • The opportunity to become part of a highly professional and dynamic team
