Product Engineer (Front-End)

Banking is moving out of banks and becoming a part of customers’ daily digital lives. Inbank’s financing solutions are embedded seamlessly into the shopping journey of 6,000+ retailers. This helps our merchant partners to grow their businesses while end customers get to benefit from a frictionless shopping experience wherever they are. With a focus on innovation and growth, we have a team of 420+ people working across our offices in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and the Czech Republic. We are seeking a product-minded Product Engineer with a front-end focus who will help building an awesome user experience for our new Smart Rent product. In this role, you will be part of a small dedicated full-stack product team. You will be able to lead on our design choices and best practices in front-end development for both our partners and customers. There will also be an opportunity to mentor other team members in growing their frontend skills. 

 

Our current tech stack consists of:

AWS, Node.js, Nuxt, Vue.js 3, Typescript and Tailwind CSS.
Backend uses Java 21, Ruby, PostgreSQL, Kafka.

We are looking for someone who has:

• proficiency in at least one of the modern JavaScript frameworks, ideally in Vue.js (or e.g React, Angular)
• strong customer-centric mindset
• an eye for UI/UX design
• strong communication and collaboration abilities, as we are working in teams
• ability to figure out what needs to be done instead of relying on an analyst or PM to tell you what you need to code.
