Compliance Specialist

Due to our growth ambitions, we are looking for a talented Compliance Specialist in Estonia.

The role is in Inbank’s Compliance Team, a multinational team spanning 5 countries. The role includes managing communication with regulatory authorities, analyzing various parts of Inbank’s operations for compliance with internal and external regulations in areas like consumer finance and AML, and finding solutions that meet both regulatory requirements as well as Inbank’s desire to innovate.

What will you be doing?

• Monitor developments of relevant external regulations and communicate their requirements and impact to the organization
• Monitor the compliance of Inbank’s activities proactively, detect issues at the earliest opportunity and offer solutions for addressing them
• Participate in various local and group-wide projects and provide advice and support to internal stakeholders
• Manage the internal regulations framework
• Assist in managing regulatory relations and communication with supervisory authorities 

To be successful in the role, you ideally have the following:

• Knowledge of Estonian and EU banking and finance laws and regulations
• Experience in a compliance role within the financial sector
• Ability and willingness to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical solutions
• Fluent written and verbal in Estonian and English
• Legal education

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Open minded to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
• Experience with setting up and managing internal regulations
• Experience working with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira)
