Helmes Latvia is part of an international digital innovation company with 1600+ professionals across 10 countries. We create smart software solutions for businesses and governments worldwide — and now, we’re looking for a people-focused, business-savvy HR Partner to join our team in Rīga.

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead and execute all HR activities in Helmes Latvia 
  • Partner with local leaders and employees on people-related matters 
  • Drive recruitment and employer branding efforts in the local market 
  • Ensure compliance with Latvian labor law and internal policies 
  • Support employee growth, well-being, and engagement 
  • Help create an inspiring and efficient work environment 
  • Represent Helmes in internal and external HR initiatives

What We’re Looking For 

  • Solid understanding of Latvian labor law and HR best practices 
  • Strategic and contextual thinking – You see the bigger picture 
  • Clear communicator with great relationship-building skills 
  • Confident advisor – You are able to explain and stand by decisions 
  • Organized multitasker who can prioritize and execute independently 
  • Resilient and calm in complex or conflict situations 
  • Coaching mindset and a passion for people development 
  • Curious, innovative, and eager to improve how things are done 
  • “Doer” mindset

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in HR roles (preferably in IT or tech sector) 
  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally in HR, but doesn’t have to be) 
  • Fluency in Latvian and English (spoken & written) 
  • Experience in working with data (Excel, CRM systems, HR Systems)
