Your mission:

At enmacc, we believe our people are our greatest asset. As a Junior People Operations Manager, your mission is to create a seamless and positive experience for employees at every stage of their journey at enmacc. 

You’ll work closely with the People Team to support key HR processes, maintain accurate personnel data, and assist with day-to-day operations, ensuring team members feel valued and empowered. With a proactive approach to compliance, process improvement, and engagement, you’ll help foster a workplace culture that reflects enmacc’s values: curious, persistent, fun, and supportive. What you’ll do: 

As a Junior People Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming, supportive, and thriving environment for our team. You can look forward to contributing to:

  • Employee Lifecycle Support
    • Be a key partner in managing the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract changes, and offboarding processes.
    • Support and follow-up on onboarding tasks to ensure smooth integration for all new employees.
    • Assist in coordinating tasks for performance review processes.
  • Personnel Data & Tools Management
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel data across our systems.
    • Assist in managing HR tools and processes, supporting seamless documentation and administration.
    • Support with contract management tasks and maintain clear, effective communication with relevant authorities.
  • Compliance & Policy Support
    • Collaborate with the People Team to stay updated on local labor laws and ensure compliance across all policies.
    • Assist in updating company policies and internal documentation to ensure compliance.
    • Help keep People department guidelines and procedures up to date and  streamlined
  • Process Optimization & Team Collaboration
    • Bring your fresh ideas to the table to improve and streamline People processes.
    • Provide day-to-day support in the People Team, stepping in to help where needed and contributing to operational excellence.
    • Stay curious and open to learning about People operations best practices and trends.
  • Payroll Interface & External Coordination
    • Work closely with the Payroll team to provide accurate personnel data, ensuring payroll runs smoothly.
    • Assist in managing relationships with external service providers, such as relocation partners and legal advisors.
  • Engagement & Events
    • Support the planning and organisation of internal events to foster team building and employee engagement.

 

Your profile - What you will need:

  • 1–2 years of experience in HR, People Operations, administrative roles, or relevant working student or internship experience, ideally in a start-up or scale-up environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A proactive, “can-do” mindset with a hands-on approach to solving challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes, local labor laws, and compliance requirements (or a strong willingness to learn).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, both written and verbal; other European languages are a plus.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using HR tools and systems (e.g., personnel databases or payroll software) or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • A team-oriented mindset, eager to contribute to collaborative efforts and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills and Interests:

  • A keen interest or affinity for data and analytics, with a willingness to develop skills in this area.
