We are seeking an experienced IT Applications Manager to lead our application strategy and lifecycle. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient planning, execution, and management of our software development and implementation cycles. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both technical and leadership capacities, enhancing the organization's software capabilities while collaborating with stakeholders and managing vendor relations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of the application roadmap, managing the full software development life cycle (SDLC) for new tools and legacy system upgrades.
- Manage relationships and renewals for the SaaS portfolio through effective vendor and license management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure adherence to technical documentation, best practices, and change management processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong command of English and Chinese.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant IT/software experience.
- Strong technical expertise in Python and software development best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Tencent Cloud.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or API integrations.
