Position: full-time Intern 

Duration: 3 months or longer 

Location: Munich, Germany 

Starting date: asap 

 

We are looking for a highly motivated intern who is ready to work for a new disruptive and high-end brand in the automotive industry, be part of an excellent international team. 

As an intern at AVATR Design Center Munich, you will have the opportunity to experience our company culture, expand your network and build skills to develop your expertise. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on German and EU legal frameworks, with a focus on German labor law, intellectual property, contract law, and data protection regulations (GDPR).
  2. Drafting and Document Review: Support the legal team in preparing, reviewing, and revising contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), internal polices and other legal documents.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Assist in ensuring adherence to local and international laws, including GDPR and relevant industry standards.
  4. Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner with design, marketing, and project teams to provide legal insights and address questions related to their initiatives.
  5. Document Management: Organize and maintain legal files, ensuring timely tracking and filing of documents and deadlines.

 

Qualifications

  1. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a legal studies program (LL.B, LL.M, or equivalent).
  2. Solid knowledge of German and EU legal systems, with expertise in intellectual property and contract law.
  3. Proficient in German and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
  4. Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed research and apply strong analytical thinking.

  • For students from the EU zone, no work permit is required. During the semester, working hours cannot exceed 20 hours/week, and during the summer and winter breaks, there is no weekly limit on the number of working hours (however, the total number of working hours exceeding 20 hours/week cannot exceed 26 weeks in the whole year) 
  • For international students from outside the European Union, a work permit is already attached to the German student visa at the time of issuance, and there is no need to apply for a separate work permit. It must be noted, however, that working hours for international students are limited to 140 full days (8 hours a day) or 280 half days (4 hours a day) per year. If they exceed this specified time, they must apply for a work permit at the Foreign Affairs Bureau. Chinese students on student visas cannot work more than 140 days per year if they work full-time.
