AVATR Global Design Center is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Controller to join our growing team in Munich. This role will take charge of budget controlling, analysis and reporting. 

 

What you will do:

• Take charge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, working closely with operational and project team.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts with detailed budget vs actual spending analysis.
• Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify areas of improvement and savings.
• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports.
• Participate in regular meetings and reviews with HQ finance to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Support for tax compliance and local internal and external audit.
• Assist in evaluating investments, projects, and financial risks.

 

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Fluent in English and Chinese, German is a plus
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience - in a controller or similiar role
• Experience working with or within multinational companies and coordinating with global HQs
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and ERP systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally and with international teams
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting
