About the Role
The L&D Partner has a pivotal role in the People (HR) Team. You will play an instrumental part in the learning and development program at Yondr, executing the L&D strategy, curriculum design and LMS content creation, facilitating training, e-learning development resources, L&D vendor management, audit and compliance training, learning administration and learning communication.
This is a remote position to be based in EST time zone.
Main Responsibilities
Learning Strategy Execution:
- Create a comprehensive learning and development strategy with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Conduct needs analysis using models such as ADDIE.
- Develop assessments and evaluation instruments geared towards various Kirkpatrick levels.
Content and Curriculum Design:
- Design and develop engaging and effective learning content, including instructional materials, modules, and programs for various learning formats (e-learning, in-person, hybrid) leveraging adult learning principles for different types of learners.
- Implement adult learning principles & sound instructional design principles to create content that enhances learner engagement and knowledge retention.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
Program Design and Delivery:
- Design, deliver, and manage a variety of learning programs, including onboarding, technical training, leadership development, compliance training and behavioural programs.
- Utilize a mix of instructional methods (e-learning, workshops, seminars, coaching) to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Champion organizational culture and lead initiatives that strengthen and enhance it.
- Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of training programs and propose data driven improvements based on feedback and results.
Talent Development:
- Partner with department heads and OD Director to develop and design learning and development programs for different levels of employees
- Facilitate career development discussions and manage coaching and mentoring programs.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with external training providers, ensuring the quality and relevance of the content produced.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance to ensure cost-effective training solutions.
LMS Administration:
- Administer the Learning Management System (LMS - Absorb), including user management, content uploads, and system troubleshooting.
- Ensure the LMS is effectively utilized for tracking, reporting, and managing all learning activities.
- Continuously improve the LMS user experience by updating and organizing content, courses, and learning paths.
Budget Management:
- Track and report on the ROI of learning and development initiatives.
- Record the L&D budget spend, reporting to the OD Director on a regular cadence.
Supporting wider team, namely People Partners with ad-hoc projects and tasks. .
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Adult Learning, or a related field.
- Certificated Professional in Larning ad Performance (CPLP) or any other certification from ATD or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development.
- High level experience developing learning management systems (LMS. Experience with Absorb preferred) and e-learning software such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia or other similar platforms.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing effective e-learning materials and curriculum in the LMS.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience within global organisations or international environments, navigating multiple time zones.
