About the Role

As a Principal Product Designer, Platform UX at Veeam, you will be the driving force behind the definition and evolution of our platform’s information architecture and common workflows. Your work will shape how users navigate, discover, and accomplish their goals across the Veeam product ecosystem. You’ll collaborate deeply with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products are intuitive, scalable, and unified—reducing friction and enabling seamless, modern experiences for customers and partners. This is a strategic, high-impact role for an AI-forward, hands-on seasoned systems thinker passionate about clarity, structure, and user empowerment at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the definition, documentation, and evolution of macro and micro information architecture (IA), and interaction models across the Veeam platform, including global navigation, taxonomy, hierarchy, and search.
  • Design and codify common workflows and user journeys that span multiple products and workloads, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and delight.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and other designers to embed IA and workflow best practices into end-to-end solutions.
  • Leverage AI-assisted research and prototyping to accelerate discovery, validate ideas, and drive evidence-led design decisions.
  • Facilitate cross-team alignment on IA and workflow standards, balancing speed of delivery with convergence and quality.
  • Mentor and enable other designers, engineers, and PMs to apply design thinking and systems thinking principles in their projects
  • Measure and communicate the impact improvements through usability, satisfaction, and adoption metrics.

What You’ll Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in information architecture, workflow design, and platform-level impact.
  • Deep understanding of information & interaction design principles and designing for complex, multi-product ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and deliver solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Experience with AI-assisted design tools, rapid prototyping, and evidence-led design methodologies.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and mentorship skills; able to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Passion for accessibility, usability, and delivering measurable business outcomes through design.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative, and collaborative environment.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience designing for enterprise SaaS, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, or large-scale B2B products.
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging AI/automation to accelerate design workflows.
  • Formal Academic training in Human Factors, Interaction Design, or similar
  • Experience operationalizing Design System and IA governance, workflow standards, or cross-product navigation at scale.

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$188,400 - $269,200 USD
