Channel Sales Manager

The Channel Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with value-added resellers (VARs), solution providers, and systems integrators across Chile, Peru, and Bolivia. The goal is to drive revenue growth, increase partner engagement, and expand Veeam’s footprint through indirect sales channels as part of a cross over organization supporting and aligning with the sales strategy for the territory.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Align Veeam’s channel strategy with the Sales Leader for the territory focused on reseller partners and integrators in Chile, Peru, and Bolivia.
  • Recruit, onboard, and enable high-potential partners aligned with Veeam’s go-to-market priorities
  • Drive partner pipeline creation, deal registration, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Key metric to measure success will be the growth of Veeam share of wallet within the partner business measured in pipeline and total new sales
  • Collaborate closely with local sales, marketing, and technical teams to support co-selling initiatives.
  • Ensure partner compliance with Veeam’s ProPartner program requirements (training, certifications, etc.).
  • Track partner performance using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and deliver accurate forecasts.
  • Support partner marketing efforts through MDF planning and campaign execution.
  • Act as the voice of the partner internally, advocating for resources and support.

 

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in indirect sales/channel management in the enterprise software or IT infrastructure sector.
  • Demonstrated success managing VARs and integrators across multiple Latin American markets.
  • Deep understanding of virtualization, data protection, backup, or cloud technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and partner enablement skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus).
  • Based in Santiago, Chile, with availability for regional travel.

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with major players in backup, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and partner portal tools.
  • Track record of exceeding channel-based sales targets.
