JOB PURPOSE
The Enablement Trainer will be responsible for the support and delivery of training programs and initiatives to educate and enable AMER sales teams. This role plays an integral part with implementation of onboarding, sales processes and methodology, sales enablement initiatives, driving adoption of utilization of productivity tools, coaching and driving best practices and performance consulting strategies.
The role requires interaction and collaboration with the wider GSA team, Global Program Manager and the extended AMER Sales leadership team of Veeam and has a direct influence on the driving of core Veeam Business Improvement Strategies. The role also offers scope for creating & establishing new hallmarks of excellence & best practices of world-class enablement, working within a fast-growing company with great ideas, and a bright future with lots of opportunity to grow & work cross-culturally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivery of AMER Sales onboarding program including content, engagement and communications
- Creation and delivery of enablement content tailored to address business needs and defined skill gaps
- Opportunity coaching directly aligned with Veeam Selling and JOLT Methodologies to improve sales competencies, confidence and improve execution
- Support call shadows and sales role play activities as needed
- Monitor training metrics; serve in a consultative capacity to recommend programs, trainings, and activities to improve results, improve sales skills, and accelerate productivity
- Tracks and analyzes seller performance against defined success measures including, but not limited to: team/individual performance, classroom engagement, completion of assigned Athena training, scored role plays, job shadow participation, call session outcomes, etc. Communicates outcomes with leadership.
- Collaborate with AMER Sales Leaders and others to assess, analyze and develop programs to upskill sales core competencies and performance of all defined sales representatives and work with all relevant parties to define/develop solutions to improve performance
- Deliver sales methodology training to new and incumbent Veeam Sales team members within the AMER Sales team; flexing working hours as needed to meet learners needs.
- Monitor and/or analyze available reporting including, but not limited to: training completion, program effectiveness, training satisfaction, segment organization, etc. and leverage such reporting resources to effectively support segment stakeholders and program/initiative execution
- Critically analyze and/or evaluate the effectiveness of sales training programs/initiatives to determine if they meet the expectations of the organization (leaders and other stakeholders) and adjust where required
- Using Performance Consulting best practices, make recommendations based on learner needs analysis and assessment data (qualitative and quantitative) regarding use of various instructional methods and modalities to increase the effectiveness of training activities including, but not limited to: job aids, online instruction, instructor-led, self-study, small group instruction, self-study, simulation and role play exercises, distance learning, webinars, video conferencing, etc.
- Support enablement and communication efforts across sales teams to support new product launches, system/tool/process awareness, etc. to drive awareness and execution
- Participate and contribute in all T3 (Train-the-Trainer) sessions as required and complete all necessary certifications in a timely manner
- Understand the sales roles within the AMER Sales organization and the knowledge and skill requirements therein
EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years of training/learning development experience or a combination of education and relevant sales experience in a related functional area
- Facilitation and/or training experience
- Experience in working with geographically and culturally diverse teams is a plus
- Prior experience leading training programs that scale with focus on significant business impact
- Training salespeople via a solution-oriented sales methodology
- Experience with SFDC or similar CRM
- Experience with collaboration tools like MS Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.
KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills
- Familiarity with sales methodologies, processes, and their adaptation into a sales environment preferred
- Ability to adopt the most effective engagement style when working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to manage many projects & tasks simultaneously
- Ability to adopt the most effective engagement style when working with a wide range of internal & external stakeholders, SMEs, employees & leadership of all levels
- Ability to anticipate and mitigate challenges related to cultural differences, language barriers, and market-specific needs
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time with international travel for team meetings, company events and workshops. (VISAs may be required).

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
United States of America Pay Range
$83,700 - $119,500 USD
