At Veeam, Presales Systems Engineers (SE) for Service Providers work closely with sales and help to evangelize our product offerings to our Veeam Cloud and Service Providers (VCSP). Grow along with Veeam while gaining valuable experience in one of the broadest IT areas combining on-premises, cloud technologies and cutting-edge future technologies. These positions require travel within the region of responsibility.
Job functions :
- Develop and articulate technology solutions that address the unique needs and business objectives of Cloud and Service Providers.
- Deliver impactful presentations and demonstrations of the Veeam product portfolio to both prospective and existing service providers, on-site and online.
- Build, manage, and nurture strong relationships with partners and stakeholders through ongoing communication, training, and enablement activities.
- Analyze technical, strategic, and partner-specific requirements and translate these into effective Veeam solutions to drive portfolio growth.
- Provide pre-sales technical support and on-site installation assistance to customers and partners during evaluations and adoption of Veeam software
Requirements:
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of customer strategic goals and challenges.
- Extensive experience with VMware Virtual Infrastructure, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Systems Center.
- Proven expertise in public and private cloud infrastructures, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Practical knowledge of data protection strategies and managed services offerings.
- Experience with orchestration and automation tools, including scripting and the use of APIs.
- Basic familiarity with the VMware Cloud Director platform.
- Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; fluent in English and French
- Confident in delivering presentations and engaging in discussions about cloud technologies, both remotely and in person.
- Passion for self-development, continuous learning, and keeping up with the latest technology trends.
- Self-starter, comfortable with rapid change and a fast-paced environment, and adept at using social media to promote and grow the Veeam community
