Why this role is awesome:

This isn’t your standard electronics engineering role. As our Senior Electronics Engineer, you’ll design and deliver advanced electronic systems for our next-generation vehicles and remote driving platforms. You’ll work across high-speed buses, SerDes camera links, and automotive-grade networks to bring complex designs from prototype all the way to production.

If you want to combine deep technical expertise with hands-on impact in the fast-moving world of mobility, this is your chance.

What you'll be driving:

  • Design, develop, and validate complex electronic systems for our vehicles and teleoperation platforms.

  • Integrate and optimize high-speed interfaces, including PCI-Express, USB3, DDRx, SerDes (camera links), Automotive Ethernet, and CAN FD.

  • Deliver the full lifecycle of electronics development: from concept and schematic design to PCB layout (or managing/reviewing from Externals), prototyping, vehicle integration, testing, and production release.

  • Apply strong fundamentals in signal integrity, EMI/EMC compliance, and automotive safety standards (ISO 26262).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, systems, testing, and mechanical) to ensure system-level performance and reliability.

  • Use Altium Designer for PCB design and Vector CANoe (or similar tools) for bus/system analysis and validation.

  • Work closely with suppliers, manage BOMs, and support sourcing and industrialization.

  • Own troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis of prototypes and production hardware.

What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).

  • 7+ years of experience in electronics design and development.

  • Strong expertise in high-speed digital design and validation (PCIe, USB3, DDR, SerDes for camera links, etc).

  • Proven experience in automotive networking (Automotive Ethernet, CAN FD, LIN a plus).

  • Hands-on, consolidated experience in bringing products from prototype through validation to full-scale production.

  • Solid knowledge of PCB design (Altium Designer preferred), signal integrity, and power distribution.

  • Experience with EMI/EMC design and validation.

  • Familiarity with vehicle analysis tools such as Vector CANoe or comparable platforms.

  • Strong understanding of automotive electronics and safety standards (ISO 26262).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with hands-on debugging and validation experience.

Role is based in Berlin, Germany. Onsite 70%, Remote 30%
