Why this role is awesome:
As a Junior IT Administrator, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting the systems, devices, and tools that keep Vay’s operations running seamlessly. From managing employee onboarding and IT support to maintaining secure network infrastructure, you’ll help ensure our teams can focus on changing the world of mobility - without worrying about tech hiccups.
You’ll gain real-world experience across cloud platforms, identity management, and endpoint security, working alongside an international team of talented engineers and IT professionals.
What you'll be driving:
- Provide day-to-day IT support for employees (hardware, software, and access requests).
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding, device setup, and account provisioning across Google Workspace, Slack, Jira / Confluence.
- Monitor and maintain network and office infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, printers, and security systems.
- Support asset management and inventory tracking using tools like Snipe-IT.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot technical issues and improve IT workflows.
- Help implement IT to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Participate in documentation and process automation initiatives to scale IT operations.
What are we looking for:
- A proactive, detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for technology.
- A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through on tasks and projects.
- Foundational knowledge in IT systems administration (macOS, Windows, or Linux).
- Familiarity with cloud-based admin platforms such as Google Workspace, MDM, or Azure/Entra ID.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, IPs, Wi-Fi, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Desire to continuously improve systems, document processes, and suggest new solutions.
