About the opportunity
Teads is looking for a proactive and results-driven Strategic Account Manager to join our growing team in Prague. As one of the key representatives of Teads in the local market, you will be responsible for forging partnerships and driving incremental revenue growth on key accounts in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. You will act as a focused professional managing mid-to-senior level relationships with the most prominent clients in industries such as CPG, Tech & Telco, Retail, Automotive, Finance, and Beauty/Lux.
You will report directly to the Sales Director/Country Manager.
What will you do?
- Local Industry Representation: Act as a key face of Teads in the region, taking an active role within the local industry through proactive engagement with industry committees, conferences, and seminars.
- Relationship Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of big advertisers, focusing on mid-to-senior level contacts and media agencies to secure Teads' inclusion in core media plans.
- Strategic Partnerships: Develop and scale collaborative relationships with top businesses, aiming to develop local/regional partnerships or fully leverage global Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
- Consultative Sales: Create and deliver presentations using industry knowledge and market trends to provide solutions that best fit advertiser needs.
- Campaign Oversight: Work closely with local and multi-market sales and operations teams to manage the day-to-day delivery and optimization of campaigns.
- Thought Leadership: Serve as an industry expert to drive vertical success by developing thought leadership and sharing market insights.
- Outcome Ownership: Take ownership of specific client projects and revenue goals, working independently to execute the sales strategy and contribute to regional growth.
What will you bring to the team?
- Your skills and experiences:
- Market Expertise: Personal knowledge, excellent orientation, and proven professional relationships within the advertising and marketing industry.
- Professional Experience: Solid experience (7+ years) in media or digital advertising with a history of building long-term sustainable partnership growth.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of online video, display, and performance advertising.
- Programmatic & Auction Skills: Practical experience with programmatic and auction-based buying/selling of advertising space.
- Research & Measurement: Demonstrated experience with research and measurement methodologies specifically related to online advertising performance.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate campaign results and product value propositions clearly.
- Business Conversion: Demonstrated ability to convert media budgets from traditional or competing digital channels.
- Languages: Proficiency in Business English and either Czech or Slovak is essential.
