About the opportunity

Our global IT team supports Teadsters worldwide, from first-level support to managing and standardizing major information systems. We are looking for an IT Operations Engineer to strengthen our New York presence, own day-to-day endpoint and end-user operations for the US region, and work closely with the global IT team on identity, device management, and security hygiene.

You are a resourceful, hands-on problem solver who resolves issues autonomously, documents what you learn, and keeps users productive. You will balance daily support with improving the tools, processes, and automation behind it.

What will you do?

  • Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 technical support to Teadsters in US and across the globe: hardware, OS, applications, network, VPN, and authentication issues.
  • Manage the endpoint fleet (primarily macOS, with Windows) through MDM: enrollment, configuration, software deployment, patching, and compliance.
  • Administer identity and access: SSO and MFA, user and group provisioning, access requests and permissions, and secure access removal (Okta and directory services).
  • Run the onboarding and offboarding process end to end: laptop and account setup, welcome sessions for new hires, device recovery, and access revocation.
  • Track hardware, software, and license assets across their lifecycle; order IT equipment and manage vendors.
  • Monitor vulnerability and endpoint security tooling and act on findings with the Security team.
  • Keep core services stable and available: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, Slack, and related SaaS.
  • Support the New York office: network, printers, meeting rooms, AV, and live-streaming for global town halls and events.
  • Create and maintain documentation and runbooks; contribute to global standardization of IT processes.
  • Identify recurring issues and fix root causes through automation, scripting, or process changes

What will you bring to the team?

  • Your skills and experiences:
    • 3+ years of experience in IT support or IT operations in a fast-paced, global environment.
    • Hands-on experience supporting macOS and Windows in a hybrid environment.
    • Experience with MDM and endpoint management tools (Jamf, Kandji, Intune, NinjaOne, or similar).
    • Experience administering an identity provider (Okta, Entra ID, or similar), including SSO, MFA, and the user lifecycle.
    • Experience with ticketing and request-management systems (Jira, ServiceNow, or similar) and tracking assets and operations.
    • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS/DHCP, VLANs, VPN, Wi-Fi) and endpoint security basics.
    • Experience with productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) and video conferencing systems.
    • Strong communication skills, a service mindset, and a real sense of ownership and accountability.
    • Fluency in English.
  • Bonus points:
    • Experience with secure web gateway or zero-trust tools (for example Zscaler) and endpoint security platforms (for example Microsoft Defender).
    • Scripting or automation skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
    • Experience supporting remote teams and managing devices remotely.
    • Experience with AV and live-streaming for company events.
    • Relevant certifications (for example Jamf, Okta, Microsoft, or CompTIA).
  • You connect with our values:
    • Relentless Customer Focus: You put customers at the heart of everything, building strong relationships, understanding customers needs, and making decisions that keep their perspective front and center.
    • Act Today, Not Tomorrow: You make smart decisions quickly, prioritize action over perfection, and keep things moving forward, even when things aren’t 100% clear.
    • Obsess About Outcomes: You’re outcome-driven, take ownership of your results, and work through challenges to deliver what really matters.
    • Evolve Through Change: You’re adaptable, curious, and see change as a chance to learn and improve. You evolve your skills to keep up and push ahead.
    • Human-driven, Powered by AI: While we use AI to drive performance, it’s our people who make the real difference. You bring empathy, collaboration, and a love of learning to everything you do.

The pay range for this position is USD $70,000 to $100,000 annually. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to salary, you may be eligible for our competitive benefits and perks to support you and your family as part of Teads’ total rewards package.
