APR Analyst

As an Antifraud, Payment and Risk Analyst, the person in this role will be responsible for ensuring that payment requests — both into and out of customers' accounts — are evaluated and processed on time, and that established policies and procedures relating to fraud and risk prevention are followed. Reliability, strong analytical skills, acute attention to detail, and good communication and interpersonal skills are essential qualities for this role.

What the role involves

• Perform risk assessments of new and existing players at different stages
• Ensure all payment transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with all operating procedures
• Handle and verify KYC documents
• Collaborate with the AML department
• Support the CS team with payments and risk-related player queries, as well as process withdrawals
• Assess and escalate cases accordingly to the responsible departments
• Liaise with third-party service providers to resolve payment processing issues and provide a high level of service to players
• Research and investigate fraud cases including, but not limited to, credit card fraud, bank fraud, and identity theft
• Take part in improving workflows and procedures
• Carry out ad hoc tasks as required by the Team Leader

What we are looking for

• Fluency in at least one of the following languages, in addition to good written and spoken English: Romanian, Polish, Serbian, or Croatian
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Naturally inquisitive with an alertness to irregular activity
• Strong attention to detail and good communication and interpersonal skills
• An interest in developing a career in the payment, antifraud, and risk field
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required

Nice to have

• Knowledge of antifraud validation tools
• Prior experience in payments and/or antifraud
