Senior Executive, Events & Marketing Activations
Shenzhen Shi, Guangdong, China
About the Role
StraitsX is looking for a proactive and highly organized Senior Executive to support and execute events, workshops, and marketing activations across Singapore and the Chinese market. This is a hands-on role with ownership over event logistics, on-ground execution, and StraitsX’s swag strategy across all markets.
What Will You Do
- Plan and execute marketing activations, including industry conferences, co-hosted partner events, and in-house workshops and online sessions
- Own StraitsX’s swag strategy end-to-end, including ideation, sourcing, budgeting, production, logistics, and distribution across all events and markets
- Plan and manage event logistics such as venues, vendors, timelines, shipping, and on-site coordination
- Work closely with the marketing team and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution
- Support activations in both Singapore and the Chinese market; occasional regional travel may be required
- Proactively identify risks and operational challenges, and implement solutions ahead of execution
What We Are Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in events, marketing activations, event marketing, or related roles
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese to support global and China-market events
- Experience managing both large-scale and small-scale events
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Resourceful, proactive, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to think ahead and execute independently
Nice to have:
- Creative instincts for event concepts, experiential activations, and non-traditional swag
- Hands-on experience with Chinese sourcing platforms
- Experience hosting or supporting online events such as webinars, online podcasts, or live audio sessions (e.g. Twitter/X Spaces)
