Senior Business Development Manager

Our partner is a fintech and payment services provider based in the EU. Licensed and regulated as an E-Money Institution, they offer consumer wallets and corporate accounts.

As the Senior Business Development Manager, you will partner directly with our CEO to design, execute, and scale commercial strategies that redefine the European payments landscape. Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close high-value business opportunities, including client acquisition and strategic ecosystem partnerships.
  • Establish and optimize sophisticated inbound and outbound lead generation strategies to build a robust sales pipeline and consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to align commercial initiatives with the company's overarching vision, financial health, and regulatory framework.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and align product capabilities with market demand.
  • Design profitable client proposals and tailored pricing strategies, while providing clear data-driven visibility and reporting on pipeline performance to the leadership team.
  • Build and sustain deep, trust-based relationships with key clients, major partners, and influential industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends to continuously uncover new growth vectors and actively represent the company at major fintech conferences and networking events.

Requirements

  • Proven business development or enterprise sales experience specifically within the financial services, payments, or fintech sectors.
  • Deep commercial fluency with a strong understanding of financial mechanics, balancing revenue generation with cost structures.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern sales methodologies and principles, with the capability and desire to coach and mentor others.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a verified history of meeting and exceeding aggressive commercial targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive, multitask, and maintain meticulous attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.
  • A demonstrated commitment to the highest professional ethical standards, respecting the regulatory boundaries of the payments ecosystem.
