Human Resources Manager

The Manager, People Operations will, under the direction of and in coordination with the Director, People Operations - US, plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate LetsGetCheckes’s policies, activities, legal compliance, implementation of the organization’s mission and strategy, and communicating HR initiatives and messaging to all relevant stakeholders across the company. This will include developing processes to scale and automate the People Operations / HR functions as the company continues to grow.
This is a hybrid position in Monrovia, CA - 91016
Duties/Responsibilities:
- HR Operations: Drive the day-to-day HR functions that support the life cycle of lab employees. Continuously identify areas of improvement for HR processes, policies, and procedures to improve employee engagement and company culture.
- Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with the lab senior leadership team and HR team to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to business goals and promote HR strategies that align with the company's short term and long term goals.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the direct contact for employees and managers addressing inquiries and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures. Be a mediator and advisor in resolving employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
- HR Compliance:, Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance. Stay updated on relevant legislation and implement necessary changes.
- Policy Development - Collaborate with HR leadership to create, update and communicate HR policies and procedures .
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Track HR metrics and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Employee Feedback: Communicate with employees to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvements.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven work experience as an HRBP or HR Manager with in-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, processes and procedures and regulations, preferably in a high-growth technology or healthcare company.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business needs utilizing strong business acumen to provide HR solutions.
- Experience with California Employment Laws required
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies that support organizational goals.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
