Senior Credit and Collection Analyst 

Reporting to the Finance Billing Manager, we are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical and proactive Senior Credit and Collection Analyst to join our finance billing team. The Senior Credit and Collection Analyst will be responsible for managing credit risk and ensuring timely collection of receivables to support the company’s cash flow and profitability goals as well as assisting the billing team with the generation of monthly sales invoicing. This role involves supporting monthly sales invoicing, assessing creditworthiness, setting credit limits, managing collections, and liaising with the sales team to ensure alignment between commercial objectives and credit policies.

Responsibilities 

  • Create and upload data into LGC’s accounting system (SAP)
  • Analyze and validate billing, operational, & customer data for completeness and accuracy
  • Evaluate new and existing customers’ creditworthiness using financial analysis, credit agency reports, and internal scoring systems.
  • Set and review customer credit limits in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor and control exposure to minimize risk and bad debts.
  • Follow up on outstanding receivables and ensure timely collections in line with payment terms.
  • Resolve payment disputes and escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment promises, and collection activities.
  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to address issues impacting collections.
  • Provide timely reporting and feedback on customer accounts and potential credit risks.
  • Coordinate with legal or third-party agencies for recovery when necessary.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on accounts receivable aging, collections performance, and credit risk.
  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies and internal controls.
  • Support audit processes related to credit and collections.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of general revenue accounting principles.
  • Previous experience in healthcare and healthcare tech is helpful
  • Strong communication skills in partnering with other internal groups and management
  • Experience and competence in using integrated ERP software (SAP preferably)
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Intermediate to advance Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Gsheet, and GDrive)
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and present financial information to various internal business contacts
  • Self-Motivated & detail oriented with the ability to work independently under general supervision
  • Ability to prioritize actions and manage multiple deadlines and tight quarter end deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills
