We are looking for a highly motivated and statistically minded individual to work for our Risk team based in the Malta Office. The position is ideally suited to someone with an analytical mindset and a keen interest in sports betting.

The Risk team play a vital role in optimizing revenue for our Partners.

From an early stage in your career at Kambi, you will be given exposure to our highly sophisticated models and responsibility for making business critical decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse the betting behaviours of our partner’s client base, using advanced metrics and reporting tools to determine future expected value.
  • Make quantitative and qualitative risk management decisions to optimize revenues of our partners across Online and Retail sports betting verticals.
  • Use procedural guidelines to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of high risk bet acceptance decisions.
  • Analyse partner financial performance, providing insights that drive actions to improve future trading strategy.
  • Undertake Project work to improve the efficacy of our tools, processes, and guidelines.

Industry experience is not essential, but the responsibilities and seniority of the role will be tailored to the successful candidate’s experience in sports betting.

Requirements

Must have:

  • Strong data management, analytical and reporting skills
  • Strong mathematical background
  • Flexible working hours’ approach (including weekends)
  • Keen interest in Sports and Sports Betting
  • Motivation to learn new skills and improve personal performance

Desirable:

  • Experience in a sports betting environment or an analytical role
  • University degree (preferably in an analytical field, such as maths or statistics)
  • Advanced Excel and/or knowledge of SQL
