Sustainability Reporting Manager
WHY WORK AT JOE & THE JUICE
JOE & THE JUICE is a people centric food and beverage company built around culture, not just juice, sandwiches, coffee, and much more. When joining us, you step into a high energy community where the music is loud, the bar is your stage, and your personality matters as much as your skills.
We believe in four simple virtues that shape everything we do:
- Positive Attitude
- Inclusion
- Social Ties
- Growth
For us, this means that when you choose a cup half-full mindset and welcome people form every background, build real friendships across the bar by creating great guest experiences, and use every shift as a chance to learn something new, you become more than just a juicer; like us, you continue to search and mind purpose and meaning in what you do.
From your first day, you’ll be part of an international network of juicers who support each other, celebrate wins together, and push each other to grow. You will learn by doing, move through a clear Moneyball career path, and be part of a company where most leaders have earned their stripes behind the bar (fun fact: over 75% of our employees started as Juicers!).
If you love fast paced service, music, people, and the idea of turning a job into a lifestyle, JOE can become a place to build skills, friendships, and a career that can take you across cities, countries, and roles.
Your Mission
Step into a newly created role where creativity and sustainability meet. As our Sustainability Reporting Manager, you will own our sustainability reporting end-to-end — from ESG disclosures and carbon emissions data to compelling content that brings our sustainability journey to life across the organisation. Based at our headquarters in Copenhagen and working globally, you will help shape how we communicate our impact and translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, inspiring stories for our people and beyond. You will report directly to our Sustainability Director and collaborate closely with teams across the entire business.
Key Responsibilities
- Sustainability reporting: Lead the development, coordination, and delivery of sustainability reporting and ESG disclosures across the business — ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and compliant with CSRD, ESRS, CSDDD, UNGC and other applicable standards and requirements
- Assurance & materiality: Help manage assurance processes for sustainability disclosures and underlying data, and support the update of our double materiality assessment
- Regulatory tracking: Stay ahead of evolving sustainability regulatory requirements — including changes related to packaging, waste, and extended producer responsibility — and translate them into practical, actionable business responses
- Carbon emissions: Own our carbon emissions data and calculations end-to-end, coordinating data collection through our software tool across internal stakeholders and ensuring completeness, consistency, and audit readiness
- Content creation: Develop engaging and creative sustainability content for internal and external channels, including our Juicer app and future global Impact Reports — turning technical topics, data, and regulatory requirements into accessible stories, insights, and actions
- Internal engagement: Help make sustainability progress, priorities, and expectations visible across the organisation, inspiring our Juicers to take ownership of their role in our sustainability journey
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with most departments across the business — from operations to finance — acting as a connector between sustainability data, reporting requirements, and the wider organisation
Who Are You
You are someone who thrives at the intersection of rigour and creativity. You bring both the analytical mindset to navigate complex datasets and reporting frameworks, and the communication skills to turn them into stories that resonate. You are hands-on and proactive, comfortable working at pace in a dynamic environment, and genuinely curious about sustainability and the people behind it. You take ownership, collaborate naturally across teams, and are driven by making a real difference.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in sustainability, business, or finance — consulting background is a plus
- Strong knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with complex datasets, AI tools, and reporting software
- Familiarity with greenhouse gas accounting and climate-related disclosures (an advantage)
- High attention to detail combined with the ability to communicate technical content clearly and compellingly
- Fluency in written and spoken English; Danish is a plus
