People Technology Project Manager

Copenhagen

WHY WORK AT JOE & THE JUICE

JOE & THE JUICE is a people-centric food and beverage company built around culture, not just juice, sandwiches, coffee, and much more. When joining us, you step into a high-energy community where the music is loud, the bar is your stage, and your personality matters as much as your skills.

We believe in four simple virtues that shape everything we do:

  • Positive Attitude
  • Inclusion
  • Social Ties
  • Growth

For us, this means that when you choose a cup-half-full mindset, welcome people from every background, build real friendships across the bar by creating great guest experiences, and use every shift as a chance to learn something new — you become more than just a Juicer; like us, you continue to search and find purpose and meaning in what you do.

From your first day, you’ll be part of an international network of Juicers who support each other, celebrate wins together, and push each other to grow. You will learn by doing, move through a clear Moneyball career path, and be part of a company where most leaders have earned their stripes behind the bar (fun fact: over 75% of our employees started as Juicers!).

If you love fast-paced service, music, people, and the idea of turning a job into a lifestyle, JOE can become a place to build skills, friendships, and a career that can take you across cities, countries, and roles.

YOUR MISSION
JOE & THE JUICE is building a People Technology capability from the ground up — and as People Technology Project Manager, you'll be one of the first people in it. Working side by side with the Head of People Technology, you'll plan and drive the projects that make our HR tech stack work in practice, from vendor selection and system implementations to process improvements and adoption programmes. You'll do it in a truly international environment, with stakeholders across every corner of the business. One of your first projects will be a structured HRIS selection and implementation — a high-visibility initiative that shapes how we manage people data across the whole organisation. From day one, this is a role where your work is seen and your contribution matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead structured vendor selection end to end — requirements, RFPs, demos, evaluation and final recommendation
  • Plan and manage HRIS and HR tech implementations from kick-off to go-live, owning timelines and workstreams
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and implementation partners across active projects
  • Maintain clear project plans, status reports, decision logs and action trackers; manage risks, dependencies and blockers while keeping stakeholders aligned
  • Coordinate testing, UAT, data validation and go-live readiness
  • Develop and execute change, communication and training plans that drive consistent adoption of new systems and processes
  • Act as the point of contact for end-users, gathering feedback and resolving issues after rollouts
  • Map and improve HR processes in partnership with People Operations, maintain documentation and governance, and scope automation opportunities

WHO YOU ARE
You're structured and detail-oriented, at ease running several workstreams at once without ever losing sight of the bigger picture. You're a strong communicator who can make technical topics clear for non-technical people, and you build alignment naturally across teams, markets and regions. You take ownership, you thrive when a role is still taking shape, and you're genuinely energised by the chance to build something from the ground up.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Solid project management experience delivering HR technology or systems projects end to end
  • Hands-on HRIS implementation experience, including at least one full cycle from requirements to go-live
  • Experience running structured vendor selection, ideally with RFP and evaluation frameworks
  • Good understanding of HR processes and the employee lifecycle, able to translate business needs into requirements
  • Comfortable working with data — migration validation, data quality checks and basic reporting
  • Fluent in English, with other languages a welcome bonus
  • Project management certification (Prince2, PMP or equivalent) is a plus
  • Experience in an international, multi-market environment — ideally retail, hospitality or a similarly fast-paced sector — is a plus

OUR BENEFITS
This is a rare chance to help build a function from scratch and own high-visibility projects from your very first weeks — the kind of exposure that develops you both professionally and personally. Through our Moneyball career system, there's a clear path to grow as the People Technology team grows around you. On top of that, we offer a benefits package that includes a paid pension plan, health insurance, parental leave and additional vacation. Besides that, we provide some JOE-ified benefits:

  • Our global headquarters is conveniently located in the heart of beautiful Copenhagen, where over 130 friendly faces come together!
  • Enjoy our fantastic office facilities, including a fully staffed JOE & THE JUICE bar, where we serve delicious breakfast, daily lunch, refreshing juices and top-notch barista coffee.
  • At JOE, we embrace a flat hierarchy that values every opinion, creating a welcoming space for your ideas and suggestions to thrive.
  • Join us for our lively monthly social calendar filled with fun activities like running club, wine tasting, creative evenings and Friday bars. There's always something exciting happening!
  • As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to take on a BTC (Behind the Counter) shift in one of our bars twice a year, adding a unique touch to your experience.
  • Stay fit and healthy with our well-equipped fitness facilities, complete with showers and a relaxing steam room to refresh after your workouts.

If you want real ownership and the chance to grow with a team that's just getting started — this is your role. Apply now and let's build it.

ABOUT JOE & THE JUICE

JOE & THE JUICE is a healthy fast-casual concept founded in Copenhagen in 2002; since then, we have grown to more than 500 locations across 20 countries and now employ more than 4,500 people worldwide. From day one, our ambition has been to prove that there should be no trade-off between taste and health.

We serve high-quality, freshly prepared juices, shakes, coffee, and sandwiches in relaxed, contemporary concept cafés that combine convenience with distinct urban atmospheres. JOE & THE JUICE goes beyond products towards the full experience around the bar, creating a consistent universe for guests and Juicers in all our locations.

We invest heavily in internal development through our Moneyball career system and a culture where most leaders, including C-suite, VPs, and directors, have started behind the bar. We continue to evolve our people-centric and sustainability agenda that is part of our Nordic heritage and our commitment to a better future.
