Engine Assembly Technician (m/f/d)
Mission Brief
Your Role in Our Space Mission:
- Assembly, integration and test of rocket hardware, including valves, turbopumps and whole engines
- Functional testing for development and production/acceptance campaigns, including cryogenic, high pressure and environmental testing
- Working under high cleanliness requirements, such as ISO 8 standard
- Non-conformance identification, handling and reporting
- Update and maintain relevant production data in various systems
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and driving projects to completion
- Working in accordance to the company processes and procedures
- Supporting other teams within the company and performing occasional other duties as required
Qualification Checklist
- Completed vocational training as an assembly technician, specializing in production engineering, maintenance engineering or comparable training in accordance with the requirements
- Preferable previous experience in the field of aerospace or comparable industries
- Willingness for occasional assembly work at different locations
- Ability to read technical drawings for assembly and testing
- Able to independently identify and verify non-conforming components and assembly
- Ability to work in flexible environment
- Team oriented
- High motivation to take on complex challenges
- Fluent in English
