📝 Summary
- We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator (International) to help grow and engage our global audience across social platforms.
- This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about social media, stays on top of the latest trends, and understands how to create content that resonates with international audiences.
- You will support the execution of social media strategies across multiple countries, assisting with content creation, community management, and performance tracking.
- The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and eager to experiment with new content formats while ensuring brand consistency across international markets.
👥 Manager
- You will work closely with Josef Buryan, our Chief Marketing Officer. He is based in Prague, which is why we would like the new team member to come to the office two days a week to foster better collaboration and team alignment.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing Groupon’s international social media profiles across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Help create and schedule engaging content, including short-form videos, graphics, and interactive posts.
- Support community management by responding to comments, messages, and engaging with followers.
- Track social media trends and identify opportunities to adapt viral content for international markets.
- Monitor and report on content performance, using insights to refine strategies.
- Help maintain a content calendar, ensuring consistent posting and alignment with marketing campaigns.
✏️ Qualifications
- Some experience (internship or 1–2 years) in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their best practices, especially Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Strong understanding of international audiences, cultural nuances, and localization in social media.
- Basic content creation skills (graphic design, video editing, or copywriting is a plus).
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and make content recommendations.
- Passion for social media trends, memes, and viral content.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) is a plus.
- Fluency in English (additional language skills are a plus).
🌍 Location & Work Setup
- This position is based in Prague, with two days a week in the office (near náměstí W. Churchilla)
- While it is a full-time role, we are flexible and open to candidates seeking part-time arrangements (0.5 FTE or more).
