Product Description

POST is a Point of Sale solution in Indonesia with over 100k downloads on the Google Play Store. The app is designed for MSMEs, providing seamless integration with e-wallets and card payments, making it ideal for businesses using tablets or phones. Our mission is to support MSMEs with powerful tools for running their operations efficiently in a rapidly growing digital economy.

About The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer with strong skills in both backend and mobile/front-end development. In this role, you will be the engineer responsible for maintaining, developing, and leading the technical direction of the POST app. You will work closely with product managers and QAs to ensure the app delivers a seamless experience to its users, but you will have full ownership of the engineering aspects.

You will be instrumental in designing, testing, and improving the app, with a focus on performance, security, and user experience.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and mobile/front-end applications to ensure secure, efficient solutions.
  • Write clean, reusable code following best practices for both backend and mobile/front-end development.
  • Collaborate with product managers and QAs to implement new features and enhance user experience.
  • Lead the app’s technical direction, ensuring scalability, performance, and smooth integration with e-wallets, card payments, and APIs.
  • Optimize database queries and manage data storage for seamless functionality.
  • Implement strategies for cloud management to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Improve app performance across devices (phones, tablets) while scaling backend services.
  • Manage containerized backend applications and CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
  • Contribute to product development, participate in code reviews, and help shape the app’s roadmap.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backend and mobile/front-end issues to ensure smooth functionality.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in full stack development, focusing on backend and mobile/front-end.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of system design, microservices, and clean coding principles for both backend and mobile/front-end.
  • Experience with at least one backend framework (e.g., Golang, Node.js, Python, Ruby) and mobile/front-end technologies (e.g., Android/Java, Kotlin, iOS/Swift, React Native, Flutter).
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and caching (like Redis).
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for scalable backend services and mobile app performance.
  • Familiarity with API development, payment system integrations, and performance optimization.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions across backend and mobile/front-end.

Nice to haves

  • Experience with Go and Native Android development.
  • Familiarity with the Indonesian payment ecosystem, e-wallets, and card integrations.
  • Knowledge of containerization and CI/CD processes.
  • Proficiency in Scrum methodology.
  • Experience in performance monitoring and profiling.
  • Familiarity with Play Store or App Store deployment.
  • Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with observability platforms (e.g., DataDog).
  • Experience with continuous delivery platforms (e.g., ArgoCD).
