About the Role:

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be responsible for leading the execution and implementation of automation testing by working closely with other SDETs, QA engineers, the QA Manager, and the engineering team. You will also have the opportunity to enhance test design, develop tools and frameworks, and improve the current automation testing framework and processes.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop new automation test scenarios for mobile, web, and API testing.
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers, the QA Manager, SDETs, Developers, Product Managers, and Business Owners to ensure automation tests meet expectations.
  • Generate and report daily automation test results.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain test automation scripts, resolving issues encountered daily.
  • Suggest and recommend process improvements, tools, and enhancements for the test automation framework.
  • Stay updated on financial technology advancements in the region.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of the test automation project.
  • Work on test automation pipelines to optimize speed, reduce costs, and debug any pipeline-related issues.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or a similar role. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby).
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, Subversion, or Mercurial.
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing within an agile methodology.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API concepts (e.g., GET, POST, PUT, DELETE).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in developing test automation scenarios.
  • Knowledge of Test Automation Frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Experience with CI/CD technologies, such as GitHub Actions, is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS), such as MySQL.
