OPS Engineer Partners (f/m/d)

Lille - Jardin des Plantes, Nord, France

THE FULFILMENT LOGISTIC TRANSPORT & CUSTOM BUSINESS UNIT

Our Business Unit's mission is to guarantee the fluidity and reliability of logistics flows, transport, and customs operations, serving customer experience and sustainable performance. By joining this BU, you will enter an international environment in constant evolution, where technical standards meet team spirit and a culture of simplicity.

REJOIN THE INFRALOG TEAM

The INFRALOG team designs, deploys, and maintains the infrastructure and networks at the heart of our logistics activities. Our role is to ensure the robustness, security, and scalability of the systems that allow Decathlon to deliver to its customers worldwide. We work hand in hand with business teams and our suppliers to guarantee availability, performance, and innovation.

The team is composed of three complementary pillars:

  • Network / Infra: Ensures the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructures (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, cybersecurity).
  • Devices & RFID: Manages the fleet of mobile terminals, printers, and RFID solutions used by our operational teams.
  • Partners: Coordinates the technical relationship with our mechanization providers (automated systems, robots, conveyors) to ensure seamless integration into our ecosystem.

YOUR MISSIONS: TECHNOLOGY, PARTNERSHIP & REACTIVITY

Within the Partners pillar, you act as the technical referent bridging the gap between Decathlon and our industrial partners (Exotec, TGW, Geek+...). Your mission is built around 4 major pillars:

DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE (Build)

  • Challenge and design architectures: You define and validate interconnection solutions (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS) between the Decathlon network and partner ecosystems. You ensure their design perfectly integrates with our standards (Cisco, Meraki).
  • Lead technical projects: You orchestrate the Infra/Network side of site openings, extensions, or retrofits. You are the technical guarantor of deployment success (e.g., migration to WAN3, integration of new robots).
  • Innovate: You stay updated on new technologies (IoT, Edge Computing) to propose value-creating evolutions for our warehouses.

MAINTENANCE & RESILIENCE (Sustain)

  • Guarantee high availability: Your goal is clear: 0 critical incidents. You ensure partner solutions are robust and performant on a daily basis.
  • Lead Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP): You organize and supervise resilience tests (network failover, crash tests) with partners to guarantee that logistics never stop.
  • Master Obsolescence: You manage the lifecycle of hardware and software (Life Cycle Management) to avoid technical debt and preventable outages.

CRISIS MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP (React)

  • Lead critical situations: In case of a major incident, you keep a cool head. You lead the crisis cell with partners and internal teams to restore service as quickly as possible and limit the impact on our warehouses.
  • Communicate under pressure: You are the key interface for warehouse directors. You know how to simplify technical terms, reassure stakeholders, and provide visibility on incident resolution.
  • Analyze and Correct (REX): "Never waste a good crisis." Once the incident is closed, you lead the Post-Mortem to identify root causes and bulletproof our systems against recurrence.

SECURITY & COMPLIANCE (Protect)

  • Secure flows and access: You lock down data exchanges with our partners (Firewalling, VPN) and deploy authentication standards (SSO, Identity Management).
  • Audit and remediate: You regularly control the security level of partner installations (Industrial Cybersecurity) and drive remediation plans if vulnerabilities are detected.

PROXIMITY (Contact)

  • Embodying the "field" culture: Because reality is experienced in the warehouse, regular travel is to be expected (in France and internationally) to meet with local teams, supervise deployments and maintain strong ties with our colleagues in the warehouses.

YOUR TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

You will evolve in a rich and varied environment, including:

  • Network & Infrastructure: LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Security, Network Supervision.
  • Supplier Management: Contract follow-up, technical committee animation, coordination with external partners.
  • Support & Operations: Ticketing and monitoring tools, incident management, problem resolution.
  • Documentation & Sharing: Internal wiki, best practices, technical procedures.
  • Methodologies: Agile project management, Crisis Management, Business Continuity Plan (BCP/DRP).
  • Languages: English mastery is mandatory (B2 min) to collaborate with international partners.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Technical Background: A first significant experience in network and infrastructure (knowledge of industrial/logistics environments is a plus).
  • A "Security" Mindset: A real appetite for Cybersecurity (IT & OT). You instinctively think "data protection" and "access security" in every project.
  • Operational English: Good command of technical and professional English (B2 min) to interact daily with our international partners.
  • Key Soft Skills: Fluid communication, autonomy, rigor, and the ability to keep your cool (crisis management).

Collective Mindset: A strong appetite for collaborative work, mutual aid, and the willingness to learn continuously.
