Ecommerce Deployment Manager – CMS & E-Merchandising Platform

Lille, Upline, Nord, France

About the Role & Team

Within our Digital Product Management team, we are looking for a Deployment Manager dedicated to our CMS & E-Merchandising Platform. You will serve as the strategic and operational bridge between our central digital product teams and Oneshop/Revamp local market teams across more than 20 countries.

Your core objective will be to drive full product adoption, facilitate major e-commerce platform rollouts, and enable local e-commerce merchandising and sports content teams to get the best out of our digital merchandising ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Rollout & Strategic Pillars (Build & Migration)

  • Global E-Commerce Platform Rollouts: Enable local country teams on CMS. Validate setup, lead onboarding kick-offs, manage integration schedules and content creation up to Go-Live, and provide functional support until operational stability.
  • Content Migration & Legacy Decommissioning: Guide local teams in migrating landing pages from legacy tools to our modern Headless CMS platform, monitoring timelines and solving blockers for late-adopting markets.

2. Community Enablement, Training & Support (Run)

  • User Enablement & Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for functional support for local markets and central sports content creators (managing dedicated channels, creating user guides/trainings, host training sessions and demo workshops).
  • Central & Local Content Onboarding: Support central sports branding teams in producing global content templates (landing pages, category pages, product components) designed for local adaptation by country teams.
  • Feature Rollouts & Optimization: Coordinate the rollout of new CMS features, oversee content migrations and pilots, communicate product updates/fixes, and support local teams in setting up A/B testing.

3. User Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Gathering Insights & Platform Optimization: Collect structured feedback and feature requests from local market users to continuously refine and improve the CMS platform's performance and user experience.

Who We Are Looking For

Hard Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience in Market Success, Customer Success, or Digital Project / Implementation Management in an international, multi-market environment.
  • CMS & Digital Stack Expertise: Strong understanding of modern web architectures and Headless CMS solutions (experience with enterprise CMS like Contentstack, Contentful, or similar is a big plus).
  • Change Management & Delivery: Proven track record in orchestrating large-scale digital tool rollouts, managing migration schedules, and driving user adoption.
  • Language: Professional fluency in English (French is a plus).

Soft Skills

  • Pedagogy & Collaboration: Ability to host engaging webinars/demos, onboard super-users, and translate technical features into clear business value.
  • Organization & Rigor: Capability to balance major rollout projects (Build) alongside daily user support and ops (Run).

What We Offer

  • Flexible Remote Work: 2 days of remote work per week (flexible).
  • Work Location: Based at our Decathlon Technology office in Lille, France.
  • Choice of Equipment: Work on your preferred device (Mac, Windows, Chromebook).
  • Impact & Career Growth: High-impact role at the heart of Decathlon's global e-commerce engine, offering mentorship, certifications, and international growth paths.
  • Financial Benefits: Employee shareholding opportunities, along with monthly and quarterly performance bonuses.
