Our client is an American life insurance company which provides various products, including fixed and variable annuities and life insurance. These products are offered through a network of more than 100,000 agents nationwide.

Project Description

The project is a production system that manages clients and the various life insurance programs they are enrolled in. It plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations for a major insurance provider. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing functionality and developing new features.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor the production system to ensure stability and performance;
  • Handle incident management, including detection, escalation, and resolution;
  • Troubleshoot issues related to client and insurance program data;
  • Execute operational checklists and routine system health checks;
  • Maintain and improve support documentation for internal use;
  • Contribute to data engineering tasks such as data pipeline maintenance and data quality checks;

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in production environments;
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Logic Apps, and Databricks Notebooks using Python;
  • Familiarity with PowerApps is a plus;
  • English proficiency at B1 level or higher (able to communicate clearly in spoken and written form);
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
