Project Description

As part of the DevOps Services team, you will be embedded within one or more software engineering teams to deliver operational excellence and infrastructure reliability. You will manage both cloud and on-premises infrastructure to ensure services are healthy, monitored, automated, and scalable. The role encompasses tasks from server provisioning and system troubleshooting to application deployment and cross-functional communication. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about bridging the gap between development and operations.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of systems and networks for production infrastructure with a focus on automation;
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve operations-related issues and provide technical support;
  • Develop tools to monitor infrastructure and custom applications;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across the stack;
  • Build, monitor, and optimize production systems;
  • Document infrastructure design and operational procedures;
  • Participate in on-call pager duty rotations;
  • Work on cloud-focused initiatives to enhance scalability and reliability;

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing large-scale production environments;
  • Proficiency in AWS and experience with physical infrastructure (experience with other clouds is a plus);
  • Expertise in Linux administration and troubleshooting;
  • Experience with automation/configuration tools like Chef, Terraform, or Ansible;
  • Scripting ability in Bash, Python, or Ruby;
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, and InfluxDB;
  • Experience with container orchestration, especially Kubernetes;
  • Deep understanding of networking and internet protocols;
  • English level: B2 or higher;
