Project Description

The project involves enhancing the platform supporting bi-directional real-time integration for various POS systems. Responsibilities include API development, data transformation, and cloud-based solutions using Python, AWS, and modern development practices.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain Lambda APIs for data gathering and processing;
  • Build and enhance APIs, such as Get Vendors API, to manage and retrieve information;
  • Write and optimize Python functions for seamless database interactions;
  • Analyze and improve existing integrations while designing new ones;
  • Automate data processes with effective monitoring and alert mechanisms;
  • Handle and manage database operations for structured and semi-structured data;
  • Work with AWS cloud services to optimize scalability and performance;
  • Process large data sets using parallel processing techniques;

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional development experience;
  • Strong experience in Python design and development;
  • Knowledge of SnowFlake and MySQL is a plus;
  • Understanding of common data structures, algorithms, and data management;
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing;
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, with SOAP experience as a plus;
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services preferred;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • English proficiency at B1 or higher for effective communication;
