As an Editor at PR Newswire (a Cision company) which dedicated to news distribution, you will focus on proofreading, gaining insight into the significance of press releases while developing expertise in the fields of Public Relations and Media. You'll communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients, collaborating with the regional team to support our clients while staying updated on the latest news across various industries in APAC.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Format client press releases, proofread documents with speed and accuracy;

  • Offer professional suggestions to customers on how to improve their press releases;

  • Ensure all client requests are handled to the highest customer service standards;

  • Ensure that the team's routine workflow runs smoothly and that tasks are managed properly;

  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding on distribution platforms and processes;

  • Maintain seamless collaboration with colleagues in other functions and provide help as needed;

  • Provide regular (daily, weekly) feedback of operations activities to Supervisor.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1 year working experience is preferred, Fresh Graduates are also considered;

  • Confident in Mandarin is essential with required ability in reading and writing Simplified Chinese;

  • High proficiency in written English is a must;

  • Highly self-motivated with energy and accountability;

  • Feel comfortable interacting with people.

 

Work Arrangements:

  • 5 days a week, 8 hours a day plus 1 hour meal time;

  • Feel comfortable for shift rostering: morning and afternoon shifts (e.g., 08:00-17:00/ 09:00-18:00/ 13:00-22:00), weekend shifts (Wednesday to Sunday/ Tuesday to Saturday), and occasional overtime during peak periods (NO overnight shifts)
