Role Overview
The Integration Ops Engineer is responsible for operating and supporting ’s integration layer, ensuring reliable data and service flow between maritime applications, cloud platforms, and partner systems. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, optimizing integrations, and collaborating with development and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain integration platforms including APIs, middleware, and messaging systems.
- Support daily operations, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Develop monitoring dashboards and alerts for integration performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across REST/GraphQL APIs, OData feeds, and event-driven integrations.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure secure and scalable integrations.
- Manage CI/CD processes for integration services and version control.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and access control policies.
- Document integration processes, dependencies, and procedures.
- Contribute to improving integration standards, monitoring practices, and automation.
- Stay current with integration technologies such as Azure Integration Services, Kafka, MuleSoft, and Mendix.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in integration engineering, operations, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services (API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid).
- Strong knowledge of REST/JSON, SOAP, GraphQL, OData, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with event-driven and messaging systems (Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Understanding of integration security standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, API keys, certificates).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging frameworks (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, ELK/EFK).
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Nice-to-have: exposure to maritime ERP, IoT data streams, or regulated industry integrations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
