JOB DESCRIPTION

The role of Senior AI/ML Engineer is fundamental in the delivery of a best-practice business intelligence infrastructure that will contribute to the delivery of high-quality data analytics in line with business priorities. They will be focused on architecting, building, managing and optimizing data pipelines/models and then moving these pipelines/models effectively into production for key data and analytics consumers (including but not limited to MI Analysts and Data Scientists). They will be required to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify the optimal ways in which requirements can be achieved.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop and implement LLM-based features and applications
• Evaluate the performance of developed prompts and multi-prompt algorithms.
• Design how to use AI to support learning content generation
• Collaborate closely within cross-disciplinary teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders, to align AI initiatives with business objectives
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in LLMs and proactively recommend innovative approaches to product R&D challenges

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of LLMs and related technologies, especially AWS Bedrock
• Experience with prompt engineering, from simple prompts to advanced techniques like Chain-of-Thought and Function Calling
• Experience in integrating LLMs with other systems
• Experience with LLM Agents is a plus
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms, esp. AWS, with hands-on experience in deploying AI solutions
• Effective team player with experience working in cross-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration between technical and non-technical members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a creative approach to innovation
