As our new Retail Operations Manager Logistics, you'll be part of our core Operations team, ensuring our retail logistics setup is as reliable as it is scalable.
The Operations team is the backbone of getting our products from idea to doorstep. We make sure everything runs smoothly by securing supply through purchase orders and keeping a close eye on the entire production process — all the way from the factory floor to our warehouses. But it doesn’t stop there. The team also manages our 3PL warehouses to ensure everything is stored properly and ready to move.
When it comes to getting our products out into the world, Operations handles distribution to all our channels — whether it’s direct-to-consumer, retail stores, or online marketplaces.
Simply put, we keep things moving, so our customers always get what they need, when they need it.

 

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for an excellent customer experience by ensuring a reliable and smooth retail logistics process
  • You know the challenges managing, monitoring and steering the performance of a 3PL warehouse in retail operations
  • You drive strategic operational improvements to improve efficiency & costs in our retail operations by developing and executing strategic initiatives supporting our long-term business goals
  • You improve the way-of-working with internal and external stakeholders to target efficiency and operational excellence in our Retail business
  • You develop and maintain a comprehensive KPI framework to steer our retail operations for operational excellence
  • You are responsible for onboarding and implementing new retail customers
  • You are the commercial and strategic KPI owner and are hereby monitoring and analyzing all commercial KPIs and SLAs
  • By analyzing the defined KPIs you provide actionable insights allowing to make data-driven strategic decisions
  • You know which actions to take to counteract deviations to plan 
  • You maintain strong communication to ensure high information availability and quality for our external and internal stakeholders

 

This is you 

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics or equivalent experience in Operations, Business Administration, Economics or another related field
  • You have 5+ years experience in retail operation, and you understand the challenges in retail logistics operations (logistics)
  • Knowledge about relevant performance indicators within retail operations
  • You have strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data
  • By interpreting data, you have the ability to make business related decisions which help you to steer daily operations
  • You are business fluent in English
  • Resilience is not only a buzz word for you
