At air up, we're always cooking up fresh ideas to expand into new markets and sales channels. As a Business Development & Creative Intern in our Strategy & Business Development team, you'll be the creative mind in our early-stage US market expansion - gaining experience in growing a market from 0 to 1. Your key focus will be on go-to-market, driving organic growth and shaping how customers experience our brand. This is your chance to drive initiatives end to end, with a direct impact on how we introduce and position air up to the American consumer.

Your Responsibilities

Your focus will be on building organic brand momentum and awareness in the US market:

  • Drive Organic Creator Seeding for the US Market:
    • You identify and activate micro-creators and relevant community voices across the US that build authentic awareness and lasting buzz around our product.
    • You own end-to-end execution – from strategic creator/community selection and outreach, to briefing, product shipment, and performance tracking.
    • You analyze impact, document learnings and continuously suggest improvements to boost relevant reach and engagement within the US social landscape.
  •  Localized Organic Social Presence & Content Creation:
    • You leverage our own organic social presence as a vehicle to experiment and uncover what drives brand growth across key US platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, etc.).
    • This includes competitive analysis, trend identification, content ideation and implementation tailored to local US culture.
    • You create and adapt digital assets (images and short-form video) to test different content approaches for impact.
  • Assist with Local Event and Activation Planning:
    • You support the initial planning and organization of local, small-scale events, pop-ups, or community activations to build a grassroots presence in target US cities.
    • This involves vendor research, logistical support, and coordinating with local partners.

That's You

  • You have deep familiarity with current US culture, social media platforms, and consumer trends.
  • You understand the preferences and behaviors of US consumers and can translate these insights into impactful campaigns.
  • You're currently studying or just finished a degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field.
  • You have an experimental mindset and are able to take a test from hypothesis development through implementation to impact evaluation.
  • You've already dipped your toes into Business Development, Marketing, or PR, ideally with a focus on organic growth or creator/influencer relations.
  • You're comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and using data to inform decisions.
  • You live and breathe social media, know your pop culture, and keep up with the latest trends specifically in the US.
  • You're fluent in English.
  • Bonus points if you have experience with content creation and digital asset editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or Figma).
