The Sales Team is dedicated to driving sales with both existing and new customers in the offline retail channel. You will be part of a collaborative team of six skilled and friendly colleagues, located across Europe.

As a Key Account Manager, you will engage with both strategic and operational aspects of our business, taking on a dynamic role that ensures the smooth running of commercial day-to-day activities, while also shaping the growth of our offline retail channel. You will focus on nurturing and expanding relationships with key customers and supporting the acquisition of new accounts in line with our company's strategic goals.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Account Ownership: Take full ownership of the performance of key accounts within the DACH market, ensuring that financial targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Customer Strategy: Develop and implement tailored customer strategies that encompass portfolio, pricing, & category mgmt., aligned with our company objectives.
  • Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to align strategies and achieve shared goals.
  • Acquisition Support: Assist in acquiring new key accounts, driving market penetration and expanding our footprint within the offline sales channel.
  • Channel Growth: Play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding our offline retail channel.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, consistently seeking opportunities to optimize processes and shape ways of working. 
  • Teamwork: Work alongside a high-performing team, sharing best practices, and striving for collective success.

That’s you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent vocational training
  • Proven track record in Key Account Management/Sales, with extensive experience managing large, complex accounts in the FMCG/CPG sector.
  • Strong understanding of the DACH offline retail market and trade structures, particularly within a focus on grocers and drugstores.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, acting as a key internal and external liaison with a results-driven approach.
  • Highly driven and always pushing for the next opportunity
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, with experience collaborating across departments such as Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills; comfortable with numbers/data and adept at using analytics and presentation tools.
  • Business fluent in both German and English, written and spoken; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Possess a valid driver's license (B) and openness to occasional travel.
