Lion Studios is a mobile games publisher that works with mobile developers to get their games discovered by players around the world. Headquartered in San Francisco, Lion Studios’ creative and strategy teams utilize their expertise to help game developers break through the noise and grow their businesses.
As a Junior Growth Analyst at Lion Studios, you’ll play a key role in driving the success of our mobile games through data-driven marketing and user acquisition. This is an entry-level position ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about mobile gaming and eager to learn performance marketing. You’ll start by managing user acquisition campaigns on paid platforms, gaining hands-on experience with campaign setup, optimization, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the full UA process for our mobile game portfolio - Planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Overseeing the marketing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms.
- Producing comprehensive reporting, analysis of ROI and identifying new opportunities to support our key games.
- Experimenting and analysis of campaigns for existing and new games.
- Developing briefings for ad creatives and helping with the production of marketing materials.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to improve game performance and monetization.
- Managing business relationships and day-to-day communications with external partners and networks.
- Leveraging tools and automation (including AI-based solutions) to improve campaign efficiency and workflows.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Analytical and metric-driven.
- Fast learner with the ability to be adaptable.
- Organised with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast paced environment.
- Available and eligible to work in Berlin.
- Interest in mobile games (you play them, follow trends, or have researched the space).
- Experience with digital advertising - big plus!
Desired Skills
- Educational background in an analytical field
- Internship or early experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or gaming
- Familiarity with mobile marketing KPIs (CPI, ROAS, LTV, retention, etc.)
- Exposure to platforms like AppLovin, Meta Ads, or Google Ads
- Experience with Excel/Google Sheets or basic data analysis tools
- Interest in AI tools and automation (e.g. using AI for data analysis, creative iteration, or workflow optimization)
