An opportunity has arisen for a motivated digital professional to join Economist Enterprise events as a senior digital marketing specialist. The successful candidate will be based out of our Gurugram office and will be responsible for the development, optimisation and delivery of multiple digital campaigns designed to secure delegate attendance and sponsorship leads for our world-class events.The senior digital marketing specialist will be part of the digital marketing operations team which enables the event marketers to operate efficiently, working with people, technology, processes and data. Always keeping the audience at the centre, the successful candidate will lead on PPC campaigns tracking, measuring and reporting to improve the user experience and retain our audiences.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Create, monitor and optimise  paid media channel campaigns (google search, pmax, social ads)
  • Liaise and work closely with the  digital media agency to ensure campaigns are set up according to the brief and optimised against KPI 
  • Work with event marketers to build robust social media reporting for both paid and organic social media campaigns
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the tracking ecosystem (web, social, GA, GTM, salesforce, cvent) including creating and maintaining dashboards
  • Daily monitoring and reporting on the digital campaigns performance against KPIs  (cost-per-acquisition, cost-per-lead, ROAS)
  • Training event marketers on newly added features or process
  • Become a point of contact for queries/ requirements - digital acquisition campaigns, analytics, audience and organic social
  • Documentation of a newly added processes and trainings
  • Ensure consistency across events and portfolios 

Experience, skills and professional attributes

  • Proven relevant digital marketing experience (5+ years)
  • Proficient at  creating search and social advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/ Instagram, Linkedin and Twitter)
  • Experience with social media planning and engagement tools 
  • Proficient at of Google Analytics - getting insights, reports, conversion setup
  • Google Tag Manager - Advanced understanding of triggers and tags implementation
  • UX UI design sense for website and landing pages
  • Experienced on SEO and google search console
  • Basic understanding of programmatic environment is an added advantage is desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of lead management and data integration (desirable)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize accordingly and work towards tight deadlines
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, eager to innovate and contribute with new ideas 
  • A creative problem solver and great communicator able to work with a multinational and global team 
  • Enthusiastic, ready to take on challenges and work independently and proactively

The majority of our roles operate on a hybrid working pattern, with 3+ days office attendance required.
